Classic Baked Potato Recipe


Baked Potato Ingredients
* 4 Medium to large Potatoes
Directions
OVEN:
1. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees F.
2. Wash and dry potatoes.
3. Using a fork, pierce each potato several times around surface.
4. Place potatoes on a cookie sheet in center of oven. Bake until tender when pierced with a fork, about 1 hour.

MICROWAVE:
1. Wash and dry potatoes.
2. Using a fork, pierce each potato several times around surface.
3. Place potatoes on a paper towel or paper plate so they are not touching each other.
4. Cook on HIGH for 10 minutes.
5. Turn potatoes and continue cooking until tender when pierced with a fork, about 10 more minutes.

Note: Cooking time will vary determined by your microwave, size of potatoes and number of potatoes being cooked together.

TOPPINGS (use one or all):
sour cream
butter
grated cheddar or Swiss cheese
dill weed
crumbled bacon
ranch dressing
